A decent shovel - axe - knife do all kit. Have a couple of these now stashed in my vehicles for just incase and they’ve come in handy from time to time. My family and I refer to them as Super shovels and they do the job when you forget to bring stuff with you out into the woods.
I initially got this emergency shovel set for my go bag. But after opening, I realized that might not be the best option. The whole case is bigger than I thought it was going to be, and it is quite bulky and heavy. However, I think it makes it reliable. But that being said, I am definitely planning on putting it in my car. It makes a great emergency shovel and you never know when else you might use it. It comes with so many items that can work in an an emergency, including an ax, some scissors, and even a compass. So if you want something small and you can carry in your bag, this is not it. But this is a heavy duty item, perfect for the car.ProHas many different uses.Great for rugged camping.ConsBulky and heavy
The Good:-Multifunctional survival toolkit-Sturdy stainless and carbon steel-Comes with knife, axe and shovel protective sheath-Foldable and stores in hard plastic case-Non slip gripsThe Bad:-No instructional manualThe Bottom Line:This camping toolkit comes with an axe, shovel, knife, and extension poles. The kit comes in a sturdy plast case and is easy to use and store. The extension poles make the shovel convenient to use. The only negative is that there is no instruction manual but it's pretty easy to figure out. Overall, I would recommend this kit for anyone that likes camping or just outdoor activities.
This survival shovel kit is pretty impressive. It comes in a nice, heavy duty plastic storage box. The axe head and shovel attachment have their own sheaths. There is also a knife and scissors/shears for cutting as well. The different sections have rubber foam pads that help with grip but they also spin around. That is not so good. The materials all feel heavy duty and the locking mechanism spins down the screw threads into place. I wanted a shovel that did not have a sharp glass breaker on the end since I grab the end when digging. This features 4 sections that make the shovel long enough for a 6ft person. Some shovels are too short when assembled. The axe attachment is sharp and features a flat end of pounding. The shovel is multi function so it has a sharper blade edge and inserts for opening things. Not sure how useful that is, but as a shovel, it works well. The only item I would prefer is a knife blade attachment to make it into a harpoon for spearing fish. The included screwdriver set is pretty limited use in survival. However, overall, overall, the quality of material, and the completeness, this is one of the better sets out there and can help you deal with most if not all of your needs.
This survival shovel and axe is really great quality and it works fantastic. It is well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I got this for my son and he loves it!
